Welcome to NetBSDfr's binary packages repository.

NetBSDfr is a french support group devoted to the NetBSD Operating System.

You will find here packages that haven't made their way to official public repositories.

For now, this repository contains all necessary bits for you to install modular Xorg for both i386 and amd64 architectures, as well as irssi with custom options for i386, amd64 and sparc64 architectures.

Installing modular Xorg from this repository

• Install pkgtools/pkgin (either from an official binary repository or using pkgsrc)
• Add one of the previously listed repositories to the repositories.conf file, for example:

  # echo http://pkgsrc.netbsdfr.org/NetBSD/amd64/5.0/All/ >> /usr/pkg/etc/pkgin/repositories.conf

• Update pkgin's database:

  # pkgin up

• Install the following packages :

  # pkgin in modular-xorg-server modular-xorg-apps modular-xorg-fonts xf86-input-keyboard xf86-input-mouse

• Install the driver corresponding to your graphic card, for example:

  # pkgin in xf86-video-nv

• chat/irssi: perl inet6 ssl
